CHRISTIAN OF DOUHET, BARON Of AUZERS, direct descendant of ANTOINE DOUHET, and his children conceive AUZERS like an inexhaustible source of energy, but like all the sources and particularly those which spout out in Auvergne, this one must be shared, this is why he is in charge of  various associations of which the goal is to promote centers of local tourist interests.

Inhabited consequently family since XVème century. You will be accomodated in an alive residence where you will be able to visit his living rooms and his Régence furniture, his arched room and his Auvergnat furniture, his monumental chimneys, his oratory and his polychrome murals of the XVI ème century, his many portraits and an interesting furniture of Empire offered by Napoleon to Jean-Louis d' Auzers.

The Castle, built between 1470 and 1510, very characteristic of the architecture of "Haute Auvergne" area, preserve intact today all the attributes of the fortified House: turn, covered way, watch towers.
